Tiffany earned her Master’s of Science in Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University in 2010 and is a Licensed Professional Counselor, working with all ages. Tiffany also earned a Master’s of Science in Education in 2001 and worked as an elementary teacher for 11 years. Tiffany currently works as a middle school counselor, and immensely enjoys working with school aged kids and families, helping to navigate academics, relationships, and emotions. Tiffany has over 20 years of experience in the West Ada School District. Tiffany prefers to use a variety of techniques; however, she finds herself being drawn to person-centered therapy. Tiffany believes when we experience difficult times in life, having someone to help support and guide us through those difficult times is empowering, which leads to healing and growth. Tiffany specializes in counseling and art/play therapy for individuals with concerns related to:
- Anxiety, worry, and stress
- Depression, sadness, and loneliness
- Changing families (i.e. single parenting, divorce, step-parents, step-siblings, blending families, ex-spouses, etc.)
- Relationships and emotional growth
- Personal goals and growth
- Communication Skills and Self-Advocacy
Outside of counseling, you would find Tiffany spending time with her own loving, blended family. They enjoy camping, riding 4-wheelers, traveling, playing games, and simply laughing together. Tiffany believes life is too short not enjoy it to the fullest and that everyone has the potential to do so!!
